A Bit About Me

Dear 7B Sharks,

I hope this letter finds you all excited and ready for an unforgettable year ahead! As we gear up for this thrilling journey of learning and growth, allow me to introduce myself – I am Mr. Koranda, your 7th grade ELA teacher, and trust me, we're going to have a blast together!

First things first, I'm a huge movie buff! From sci-fi to horror movies, I can't resist a good movie. So get ready for some fun cinematic references and who knows, we might even plan a movie day in class!

Now, let's talk sports – baseball and football are my absolute favorites! I can go on and on about the Chicago Cubs and Bears, the players, and those jaw-dropping moments that make us jump off our seats. Whether you're into sports or not, you can bet we'll have some thrilling discussions and analogies that'll make ELA even more exciting!

But wait, there's more – I'm a total video game enthusiast! When I'm not reading or teaching, you'll probably find me gaming on my PS5.   Don't be surprised if our ELA class inspires some cool writing adventures based on your favorite games!

But enough about me – I'm eager to know all about you! Each one of you is a unique character with stories and talents waiting to shine. Let's create an incredible classroom community, where we support and learn from one another.

This year, we'll embark on literary adventures, craft argumentative essays, and bring creativity to life through writing. There will be plenty of opportunities to share your thoughts, ask questions, and let your imagination soar!

I am thrilled to be your guide through this exciting ELA odyssey. Together, let's make this year an unforgettable one filled with laughter, learning, and a dash of movie magic!

I can't wait to meet you all and discover the amazing talents you bring to our ELA world. Until then, get ready to embark on this incredible journey together!

                                                                                                                                                       Yours in literary adventure,

                                                                                                            Mr. K
